Water dropping on tile and metal drain randomly, with a distinct rythm that slows down towards the end of the file. Recorded with zoom h4n embedded mics, quickly edited on protools for gain, noise reduction and artifact removal. Still a little noisy, though.

This is a recording right next to water falling into a bucket while its raining. I have a second recording of it been recorded at about 5 feet away that is also uploaded. Enjoy.

A wet plopping sound, such as meat falling into a puddle. I needed the sound of a body dropping into a pool of it's own blood. This was created by letting a soaked rag drop onto several sponges full of water from a height of about a foot.

Recording of a small creek, water tumbling over a small limestone rock. I placed my zoom h4n recorder with built-in microphones so close that you will hear the ocassional "pop/puff" as a water drop actually hits the big foam wind-screen.

Pulling apart and throwing / dropping / breaking / smashing chunks of ice from the frozen water pooled up over the cover of my swimming pool. The breaking ice sometimes sounds a bit like shattering glass; at other times the sound is more crunchy and wet.

This is a beat that i made in the audition editing program using two free sounds: a cat purr and a water drop. I have no use for it because it's too slow for the songs i usually write. Recorded on mid-summer (that looked like mid-autumn) day 2010 in vilnius with a simple olympus voice recorder. I placed an old piece of metal sheet on a broken glass fish tank near a garage wall to catch the drops, recorder was placed in the middle of the sheet. The rain was very light and fine, later it intensified and became lighter again - all this is heard in the recording. Unfortunately three recorder beeps are heard at the end signaling that it was running out of memory. I later decided to leave them in as it quite unexpectedly added some drama to the whole record. . .
